Resume optimization

Resume optimization that gets you shortlisted

Your resume has one job: get you to the interview. That means passing automated screening and convincing a recruiter in under a minute. Here's what actually matters — and how we help.

How resume screening really works

Most mid-size and large employers use an applicant tracking system (ATS). It stores applications and lets recruiters search and filter them by keywords, skills, experience and location. A resume that can't be parsed cleanly — or doesn't contain the terms a recruiter searches for — may never be seen.

After that, a human reads it, usually quickly. They look for the role-relevant skills, evidence that you've used them, and anything that rules you out. Clear structure and specific evidence beat clever design every time.

An ATS-friendly resume checklist

  • Single-column layout, standard section headings
  • Text-based PDF or DOCX — no skills locked inside images
  • Role-relevant skills named exactly as job descriptions name them
  • Each project or role: what you did, the tools, and the result
  • Numbers where possible: users, time saved, accuracy, scale
  • One page for freshers; two at most for experienced candidates
  • Contact details and LinkedIn/portfolio at the top
  • Tailored to the target role, not a generic version

FAQ

Questions, answered

Clear, honest answers — including what we can and can't promise.

Do you write my resume for me?

We guide and help you improve it rather than ghost-write it — you need to be able to speak to every line in an interview. The level of resume support depends on your plan.

Is a fancy resume template bad for ATS?

Heavily designed templates with columns, icons and text inside graphics can parse poorly. A clean, single-column layout is safer and easier for recruiters to read.

How long should a fresher's resume be?

One page is almost always enough. Use the space for projects, skills and education that match the role.

  1. Profile
  2. Prepare
  3. Interview
  4. Improve
  5. Get hired
